My work begins with clay — raw, grounding, and full of possibility.

Each vessel, pendant, or sculptural form I create is shaped by hand, guided by instinct and an awareness of place. Living and working in the Kalahari, I draw inspiration from the vastness of the desert, the delicate stillness of the Karoo, and the wild beauty of the fynbos.

Through my ceramics, I explore how earth and emotion meet — how texture, line, and colour can hold memory. The process is slow and contemplative, often mirroring the landscapes that surround me: spacious, sun-warmed, and full of quiet life.

Each piece I make is an offering — a small fragment of stillness, a reminder to pause, breathe, and notice beauty in simplicity.
